the smell of autumn in the garden

Can you smell that autumn perfume in the air? The first tiny squash, of the tiny kitchen garden, as a representative of a minimalistic summer season. This was clearly, this IS clearly for me a zucchini season. The first one, and a very generous one, according to the size of the garden. The light has slightly changed, in some days I will sow arugula again, in the place of squash. All is calm in the garden, waiting for a little bit more sun in order to ripe those tomatoes. The first one, perhaps in late September, or October, as usual here, without a greenhouse!
