This afternoon we gonna meet baby Perrine... for her a little cardigan, pattern found chez Granny, a so generous place! I forgot to make buttonholes, so I added two loops with my favorite hook, the one I get from my great grand aunt, with many others treasures of needlewoman. I do love so much to work with those tools that have such a story...

  2. what a lovely cardigan lili,
    lucky little baby perrine.

i have a small tinbox after my grandmother
that contains things like old buttons, sewing needles and small hooks.
it is like a box of treasures for me, highly valued....memories and stories in these things. i also have my grandfathers beekeeper book/manual, one of my most treasured belongings.

i hope you have better weather than here lili.
it's grey and rainy...not a ray of sun to spot.

  3. Such a sweet little cardigan.

Using tools from the past always brings so much peace to my work, knowing hands from years ago used the same tools to create and share. Amazing!
